We are thrilled to welcome Julee Burgess as the Executive Director of Operations and Philanthropy for The Mitten Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation.

Julee brings nearly two decades of leadership experience from Michigan State Athletics, where she served in several key roles, most recently as Executive Senior Associate AD for Sport Administration. A proud Spartan, Julee has dedicated her career to building strong teams, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating lasting impact.

Her passion for service, leadership, and community makes her a perfect fit for The Mitten Foundation’s mission to support Michigan children and families facing serious illness.

Tomorrow is a very special day for The Mitten Foundation.

For years, I have dreamed about building a team of people who not only believe in our mission, but who are willing to pour their hearts into changing the lives of Michigan children and families facing serious illness.

Tomorrow, we officially welcome someone who is not only an exceptional leader, but also one of my closest friends. Someone whose passion, integrity, and commitment to serving others make her the perfect person to help lead The Mitten Foundation into its next chapter.
