Friends of Lansing Center Trail

Friends of Lansing Center Trail The Lansing Center Trail is located at 90 Auburn Rd, Lansing, NY east of the Town Hall. Friends of Lansing Center Trail is a 501(c)(3) non-profit org.

The trail is under the direction of the Town of Lansing Parks & Rec Dept, supported by FoLCT volunteers The Lansing Center Trail meanders 7.7 miles on town-owned land opposite the Lansing Town Hall. It is designed as a perimeter path with a few interior loops and wonderful views of the Cayuga Lake Valley, the National Forest backbone, Connecticut Hill and Newfield hills. Trail use is currently lim

ited to walking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be on short leash at all times. The Lansing Center Trail was LPC’s first trail development project and was opened to the public in January, 2011. The Lansing Center Trail in located at 90 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY 14882 east of the Lansing Town Hall and Library on the north side of State Route 34

*** HUGE *** trail update!!!! We are VERY excited to announce the opening of the Baker-Dwyer Spur that runs through the woods behind the residential centers. This addition of a shaded area along our 8+ miles of trail is beautiful! The entrances to the left of Jacoba's bench and behind Deb's bench
