We’re welcoming October with a menu full of warm, comforting meals made with love.

Every meal we serve is FREE, freshly prepared, and made with care by our staff and volunteers. Because we believe a meal is about more than food—it’s about dignity, kindness, connection, and knowing you have a place at the table.

From hearty soups and cozy casseroles to delicious seasonal favorites, we’re ready to welcome you for lunch Monday–Thursday 11:30 AM–12:15 PM.

Join Southside Community Kitchen for the Greater Lansing CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 11, 2026!

Registration is FREE, and we’re walking to raise awareness about hunger in our community and raise $1,500 to help SCK continue providing free, nourishing meals to our neighbors.

Walk with us. Donate. Share. Every step makes a difference.

Bring your family, friends, coworkers, or fellow SCK supporters and join our team. Can’t walk? A donation of any size helps us reach our goal.

Together, we can make sure more of our neighbors have access to a warm meal, a welcoming community, and a place at the table.

Join Southside Community Kitchen this Friday at the 2nd Annual KAK Network Non-Profit Gala Celebration!

We are excited to participate in this special event celebrating and supporting local nonprofits on Friday, September 11, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Hawk Hollow Golf Course.

Join us for:
• Free Little Hawk Putting Golf from 4:00–5:00 p.m.
• Meet and Greet with participating nonprofits from 5:00–6:00 p.m.
• Complimentary refreshments

Donations will be gratefully accepted, and The KAK Network will match every dollar donated, up to a total of $1,000!

The KAK Network, named in honor of Kevin Alan Kelly, is celebrating its 18th year of raising funds for local nonprofit organizations and has helped raise more than $400,000 to date.

Southside Community Kitchen will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We look forward to welcoming our guests back on Tuesday, September 8 at Galilee Baptist Church from 11:30 to 12:15 p.m.
