We raise the quality of life for Michiganders. We give compassionate care and assistance to some of Michigan’s most vulnerable citizens, including those with mental illness, the elderly, rescue children from abusive homes and support single mothers with job training to return to work. We endeavor to protect you from discrimination and ensure the blind and differently-abled have access to daily act

We handle your 911 emergency calls, process your state income tax refund paperwork, put drivers on the road and give training and rehabilitation for those with handicaps. We are the probation and parole officers, prison counselors and vocational teachers supporting a second chance. We do all this with pride and dedication. We have been beset the last few years in a tremendous struggle to maintain integrity in the services provided to you. We continue to struggle to maintain quality services to Michigan’s citizens.
