Join WVAPT on June 12, 2026, for From Sandtray to Bilateral Play: Integrating EMDR Principles into Play Therapy.

This full-day virtual training will explore practical ways to thoughtfully integrate EMDR principles into play therapy while supporting regulation, emotional expression, processing, and healing in children and adolescents.

EMDR with children often looks different than people expect. ✨

Children process experiences through play, movement, creativity, sensory exploration, and connection. Integrating EMDR with play therapy can help therapists meet children in developmentally appropriate ways while supporting regulation, expression, and processing.

From sandtray and art to movement and sensory tools, there are so many creative ways clinicians incorporate EMDR concepts into their work with children and teens. 💛
