As a nonprofit, we're proud to be part of a network of organizations working every day to strengthen Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. The nonprofits in our communities are often the first to step up when help is needed, and they rarely get the recognition they deserve.

Last August, we conducted a listening tour and public survey where neighbors and colleagues shared what they think about the Lansing riverfront. Their responses informed our work on creating LansingRiverfront.org, planning events at Fish Ladder Music Park, and more.

When our community speaks, we listen! We're proud of everything we've accomplished since last summer, and excited to see what comes next.

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the air quality, and out of an abundance of caution for our artists and festival attendees, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Dam Jam Music Festival scheduled for July 17–18.

The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our highest priority. We are actively working to secure new dates and will announce the rescheduled festival as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon.

Downtown Lansing was looking great from the rooftop at our Underground of Good gathering! This group of professionals is committed to helping their community by pooling resources and supporting local nonprofits.

At this meeting voting members had a chance to pitch their nonprofit of choice to the group, and then vote on one recipient to win all the funds.

The Community Foundation is hiring! Put your professional skills to work creating vibrant and thriving communities throughout Michigan's capital region, alongside a passionate and talented team.

We are hiring for two roles:
The Community Investment Administrator manages the technical side of our nonprofit support. With exceptional attention to detail, this role will oversee grant documentation, reporting requirements, constituent records, and more.

The Communications & Events Associate is a part time role focused on content creation for the Community Foundation's online presence, as well as event planning support.

We joined Fenner Nature Center for an exciting and adorable ribbon cutting at their new Nature Playscape at Sycamore Creek. The Community Foundation is proud to be a supporting partner on this project, which will inspire active and imaginative outdoor play for kids (and adults!) for years to come.
