The Michigan Oil And Gas Association (MOGA) represents the exploration, drilling, production, transportation, processing and storage of crude oil and natural gas in the State of Michigan. MOGA has nearly 1,000 members of which includes independent oil companies, major oil companies, and the exploration arms of various utility companies. Organized in 1934, MOGA, through its Officers and Board of Di

rectors, monitors the pulse of the Michigan oil and gas industry as well as the political, regulatory, and legislative interest in the state and the nation’s capital as well. The organization has been described as the collective voice of the petroleum industry in Michigan, speaking to the problems and issues facing the various companies involved in the states crude oil and natural gas business.

The scholarship program supports students pursuing undergraduate study related to Michigan’s oil and natural gas industry and honors the legacy of industry professionals Tony Howard, James Bigard, and William K. Roth.

We are pleased to introduce Yvonne Wendling as the Director of Membership and Events for the Michigan Oil and Gas Association. Yvonne brings more than a decade of experience working with Michigan-based business associations, most recently with the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, where she supported executive leadership, coordinated board and committee activities, and helped manage a wide range of operational and member-focused initiatives.

Yvonne is passionate about supporting members, strengthening relationships, and helping organizations carry out their mission. She will be working closely with MOGA members on events, sponsorships, and engagement efforts. Join us in welcoming, Yvonne.
