For over 40 years, MiCHN has been walking alongside Michigan homeschool families. 💛

Our vision is simple
That every family who chooses to homeschool in Michigan has the encouragement, support, and resources they need to do it well.

That’s why MiCHN exists.

We believe home education is parent-directed, home-based, and privately funded, and we’re passionate about supporting families who are raising the next generation of Christ-centered disciples.

Our mission:
Encouraging generational discipleship through home education.

Everything we do flows from that:
✨ Conferences like INCH
✨ Connecting families and communities
✨ Providing resources
✨ Developing leaders
✨ Protecting homeschool freedom

👉 You were never meant to do this alone.

Homeschooling has beautiful days…and days when the math lesson takes forever, the house is messy, and everyone is ready for a break.

But even in the middle of the chaos, we can choose gratitude.

Grateful for the freedom to homeschool.
Grateful for the time with our children.
Grateful that God is shaping hearts right alongside the lessons.

Big news for teens at INCH 2026! 🇺🇸

This year we’re again excited to partner with the Student Statesmanship Institute (SSI) for our Teen Leadership Corps (TLC) program!

Teens in TLC will split their time between serving at the conference and participating in engaging teaching sessions and activities focused on Christian apologetics.

This interactive apologetics training teaches teens the foundations of the Christian worldview, helps them explore key arguments, and develop the communication skills necessary to articulate their beliefs in real-world conversations. Through scenario-based learning, creative problem-solving, and group discussions, teens will practice responding to difficult questions and cultural challenges with biblical wisdom and thoughtful persuasion. The program aims to develop thoughtful Christian leaders who can engage the culture with clarity and courage.

✔️ Meals provided
✔️ Program t-shirt included
⚠️ Space is limited, so be sure to register your teen soon!

If you’ve ever Googled the math lesson five minutes before teaching it, this post is for you. 😅

Homeschooling isn’t always picture-perfect… but it’s real, it’s meaningful, and it’s worth it.

Save this to remind yourself you’re not the only one.

Homeschool freedom in Michigan has been protected by families who stay informed and engaged for over 40 years.

The decisions made in Lansing impact homeschool freedom, parental rights, and the ability of families to educate their children according to their convictions.

That’s why MiCHN and Citizens for Traditional Values are co-hosting a Michigan Governor Candidate Forum at this year’s INCH Conference.

This is an opportunity for homeschool families to hear directly from candidates about issues that matter to our community, including homeschool freedom, parental rights, and education policy.

📍 Friday, May 15 at INCH
⏰ 4:00–5:30 PM
🎤 Main Stage

At MiCHN, we believe it’s important that leaders understand the strength and values of Michigan’s homeschool community. More details about participating candidates will be shared soon.

Kids won’t want to miss this! 🔬✨

We’re excited to welcome Miss Emily Steele, Children’s Education Specialist from the Institute for Creation Research, to INCH 2026!

Miss Steele will be bringing her passion for creation, love of teaching, and heart for students through the Kids on Mission program: a science-focused, gospel-driven experience designed especially for Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Through hands-on learning and engaging activities, kids will explore how science and Scripture work together, discovering that Jesus created science and He created them too. Kids on Mission helps children understand God’s design for the world while encouraging them to share His truth and love with others.

Bring your curious learners and let them dive into science that points back to the Creator! 🌎🧪💡

Homeschooling is more than academics. It’s a daily opportunity to point our children toward Christ.

Whether we’re teaching a lesson, serving our families, or walking through the ordinary moments of the day, we can do it all for His glory.

May this verse be a reminder that even the small moments matter when they are done in the name of the Lord. 💛
