🎄❤️ No Senior Without Christmas — Making a Difference Through Community Connections! ❤️🎄

We’re so grateful for opportunities to get out into our community and share the mission of No Senior Without Christmas!

Our Chair, Traci Ruiz, alongside our Vice Chair of the Board of Directors Chief Stevens, recently represented NSWC at the KAK event last week, where grassroots nonprofits were invited to set up a table and connect with the community. KAK generously provides this opportunity at no cost to nonprofits, and we were grateful to be included. A special thank-you to Chief Stevens for putting together such a great display and helping us raise a little money for NSWC!

While there, we also had the opportunity to connect with Ms.Dhillon of Care Free Medical Clinic (CFMC). Ms.Dhillon has served as a receptionist at CFMC for eight years and has cared for countless patients and families in our community. CFMC has been an important resource for individuals and families who may otherwise struggle to access medical care.

We love seeing organizations and individuals come together to support one another and strengthen our community. That is what No Senior Without Christmas is all about — neighbors helping neighbors and making sure our seniors know they are remembered, valued, and cared for. 🎁❤️

What an incredible and well-deserved accomplishment! Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others have always been evident—not only in your work with the Lansing Fire Department, but also in everything you do for No Senior Without Christmas.

As our Vice Chair and resident logistics guy, you somehow have a way of making the impossible happen, keeping everyone moving in the right direction, and making sure the details are handled.

Your promotion to Chief is such a wonderful recognition of the hard work, knowledge, sacrifice, and leadership you bring to everything you do. We are incredibly lucky to have you on our team and so proud to call you one of our own.

🎄 Celebrating Nonprofit Week with No Senior Without Christmas ❤️

Nonprofit Week is a great reminder of just how much local organizations can accomplish when a community comes together.

At No Senior Without Christmas, our mission is simple but meaningful: making sure seniors in our community feel remembered, valued, and cared for during the holiday season.

Every year, the No Senior Without Christmas event brings together dedicated volunteers to assemble 400 boxes for the benefit of our community's home-bound, low-income senior citizens. These boxes contain essential household items and an extra dose of holiday cheer, ensuring that our older adults receive the support they need during the festive season.

For many seniors, the holidays can be an especially difficult time. Social isolation and loneliness affect millions of older Americans, and something as simple as a thoughtful gift and knowing someone remembered them can make the season a little brighter.

🎁 That’s where our community comes in.

Every donation helps us continue bringing Christmas cheer to local seniors. Whether you give $5, $25, become a sponsor, or simply share our mission with others, you are helping make sure a senior knows they have not been forgotten.
