Doors lock for safety. Locked does not mean closed. Staff were inside, and both police and dispatch are aware that entry may require knocking to gain access to the facility.

Treating a locked door as a closure, without attempting entry, is an error on the visitor's part.

Code Blue means access to warmth, and that access was available.

Let’s not turn a door handle into a crisis.

Hey neighbors, friends, and supporters.
Our offices will be closed on 12/24/25 and 12/25/25 in observance of the holidays.

Due to warmer temperatures, the extended Code Blue has been lifted, and the Letts Community Center will not be open overnight during this time. Overnight operations are expected to resume Saturday, 12/27/25.
