Lupus Awareness Month is a time that hits close to home for me. Since being diagnosed in 2017, I’ve learned that while there may not be a cure, there is power in how we manage it—through medication, lifestyle changes, and truly listening to our bodies. Lupus affects more than just blood levels; it impacts how we feel physically, mentally, and emotionally every single day. But I believe that awareness changes everything—it brings understanding, answers, and hope to those still searching. Through the Shalady I’m Still Lupus Foundation, we offer resources and support groups to help you navigate this journey. To my fellow Lupus warriors—you are not alone. Keep pushing, keep learning your body, and keep believing that better days are ahead.
