Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan - PAAM A non-profit organization representing the 83 county prosecuting attorney offices in Michigan. Attorneys serving in Michigan. PAAM was founded in 1928.

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM) is a voluntary association of the 83 county prosecutors, the Attorney General, and the U.S. It is a non-profit Michigan Corporation, and is tax exempt under section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is stated in Michigan Compiled Law Section 49.62:
"It shall be the duty of the prosecuting attorneys' association to keep the pr

osecuting attorneys of the state informed of all changes in legislation, law, and matters pertaining to their office through the department of attorney general of the state of Michigan, to the end that a uniform system of conduct, duty and procedure be established in each county of the state." It is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of: 5 officers, 14 elected directors, active past presidents and the Attorney General.

Welcome Brianna, PAAM intern!
Brianna Berry is a 3rd year law student at MSU College of Law. In 2023, she earned her bachelor’s degree from CMU majoring in political science with a minor in psychology, and earning a certificate in Lawmaking and Legal Processes. Last summer, she interned with the Jackson Co. Prosecutor’s Office, where she found a passion in prosecution. After graduation, Brianna plans to pursue a career as a prosecuting attorney here in Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys watching horror movies, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
