Happening one week from today!

The call is over. But it doesn't always stay there.
After a traumatic event, the first 30 days can change everything — and most first responders don't get the information they need during that window.
That's what this webinar is about.

📣 Live Webinar | June 16, 2026 | 12:30–2:00 PM

"The First 30 Days After Trauma: What Frontline Workers Need to Know Before Stress Becomes PTSD."

This isn't about weakness. It's about knowing what's happening in your mind and body after trauma — and what to do about it before it gets harder to carry.

You'll walk away knowing:
✅ What Acute Stress Disorder is and why the first 30 days matter
✅ How to spot it — in yourself and the people next to you
✅ The difference between ASD and PTSD (and why it matters)
✅ Real, practical support actions for the frontline
✅ Where to turn — confidentially — when you need help

Presented by Danielle Taylor, Ph.D. — Licensed Psychologist, Wayne State University School of Medicine & Wayne Health Psychiatry. Trauma. PTSD. Frontline wellness.
This is her lane. Hosted by Geoff Lassers.

ICYMI — Last month, 14 teams of three EMT students gathered at EMS Expo in Kalamazoo to test their knowledge and respond to EMS scenarios.

"It gives them a boost of confidence to know that when they get on the truck with their partner, and they're working that 911 call or that inter-facility transfer that they're ready. They've experienced, they've seen it firsthand, they already worked through those scenarios in an environment."
