Lansing Sailing Club asked us to assist in training members on powerboat handling. We happily agreed, put a curriculum together and organized the event. 2 USPS instructors and 2 LSC instructors worked with members with a shore school and on-the-water training. It was a blustery day but they did great!

Congratulations to the graduates of America's Boating Course - Basic boating. These graduates completed the basic boating course and now have the skills and knowledge to have a wonderful day on the water. Our class was predominately youth who are excited to drive Grandpa's pontoon boat, finally get on the jet ski by themselves, drive the new boat and help Dad find the perfect fishing spots! If you would like to take our basic course just let us know as we work on schedules for the future. Happy boating to our graduates!

Michigan’s greatest natural resource may be its abundance of fresh water. We are blessed with 20% of the world's fresh water. It is up to us to protect and care for our treasured and vulnerable waterways. Imagine the consequences if we fail.

Join us on June 1, and experience our capital city’s largest stewardship event of the year.

We’re excited to be partnering with event host Potter Park Zoo and Lansing Parks and Recreation. This event is much more than stewardship, it’s a celebration of community. There will be hospitality, special events and activities, and special offers for all.

You won’t want to miss out on this. When done, because of your support, we will reveal Michigan’s most scenic, pleasant, and varied urban waterways destination, and our prized Lansing River Trail will be looking its best. It’s something worthy to celebrate!
