Last week cars were lined up around the block at our distribution Zion UFL Center! It’s awesome to be able help so many people and give out so much free food!

2 Pop Up Pantry Days this week

1.Before you pull into the Pop Up area, have your windows rolled down, and trunk popped. We will communicate with you thru the window, and put food or other items that come into the trunk.
2.Some items come in bulk packaged, and others individual. You may get a bulk item that could be separated and bagged for sharing. (Example- Sugar Cookie Dough)
3.If you need extra for family, neighbors, or friends, please let us know. We LOVE SHARING!
4. If you get an item near expiration, please smell and taste, it may have been frozen, mislabeled, or have a longer shelf life. You can always contact the company on the item and check, or check online.
5. If we get an item that is individually, but BULK boxed, but heating instructions are on the box, the instructions from box will be posted. (Like the Muffin Trays, etc)
6. Please stay in your vehicle in the pop up area. Its a small area and this is for your safety and our volunteers. Thank You
7. Rainy Days food will be handed out in Bulk if possible.
8. Some days might be setups.
9. But ALL POP UP DAYS are a blessing, and we have so much fun giving out food.
10. To register as a volunteer call the office at 708-394-3555. You will be called two days before if needed to volunteer.

Good afternoon. If you visit the 24 hour pantry, please do not do as this man did. The refrigerator was full of meals, that would have blessed the homeless and those in need. Whoever this person is, God bless you, but do not do this again. The refrigerator has a sign that says, do not take more than 1 meal. This is for those who are in need the most. We also do weekly food pop ups if you need food- drive thru. But please do not empty the pantry meant to help.
