🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡We can’t think of a greater way to kick off National Gun Violence Awareness Month than with a Wear Orange Event! 🧡🧡🧡🧡Reducing gun violence is not an easy task, but it is an important one. We will continue to provide support and resources to those impacted by gun violence and those at risk. With programs that include education📚, job training📖, mental health services👩🏾‍🏫, and community outreach! We also need to address root causes of violence, such as poverty, inequality, and social isolation⚖️ We are so thankful for all the survivors who came out, Thank You 😊 You are brave and inspiring people. 👏🏾👏🏾Continue to speak out and make positive impact in every community you may encounter 👏🏾👏🏾Thank you to all the vendors, volunteers, and organizers that came together to make this a success Everytown for Gun Safety Mom Demands Action Gregory D Productions Karlie Campbell Amadore Water 🫶🏾🫶🏾Last but certainly not least, huge shout out to the Community‼️ You are greatly appreciated none of this would be possible with out you. Today is the day! Advancement Corporation Community Center is very excited to bring in National Gun Violence Awareness Month with our very first Wear Orange event! From 12pm-4pm our doors will be open to the community to honor our loved ones that have been lost to any kind of gun violence as well as gun violence survivors. If you have been impacted by gun violence in anyway come and let your voices be heard!

We can’t wait to see you! And don’t forget to wear orange 🧡

First ever STEAM Expo happening this weekend! See you here!

Students are invited to Lansing’s first Steam Expo. Students will compete for prizes by submitting unique, hands-on steam projects. Or they can explore science, technology, engineering, and math in interactive and engaging environments.
