In the words of our Scoutmaster:
"One of the most incredible men I've had the pleasure of working with, David Biche was the Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 63 for over 15 years. He was involved in Scouting for 35 years. He's been a mentor for me and allowed me to grow into the Scoutmaster role rather gently. He lived a vibrant life full of family and volunteering. I hope that I'm able to touch lives the way I know he did."

By Friday night they all still liked their buddies. At the closing campfire, shortly these pictures were taken, they led the song Haul Away Joe.

Today was William’s birthday! EJ baked a beautiful cake in a dutch oven that we enjoyed after the evening events. We had a special rainbow campfire to mark the occasion as well.

Wildlife, or not. We’ve seen a number of critters this week, from the flock of geese and duck family at the waterfront, to chipmunks, fireflies, and a blue tailed skink.

Tomorrow is the big day! Please have your donations of nonperishable food items out before 9am and make sure they are visible from the street. All donations will be taken to the Interfaith Food Cupboard, which serves the William Pan School District. Please message us if we miss your house.
