The “Little People”
This outreach mission is so dear to my heart & I am so blessed to have you assist in making this new level a reality. From every since I can remember, I always had a heart for children aka “the little people” - ensuring that they were raised in an environment of love with opportunities to receive education & be taught the word of God. In my immediate community, I saw that a biblical foundation & etiquette were lacking in children. So I aligned myself with an early childhood education center in the role of a mentor through out the school year - instructing them on etiquette and hygiene from my nursing background (they started calling me “Auntie Nurse”) - and presenting every child with their own Bible as they graduated to their next level of education.
I have been doing this for over 18 as a out-of-pocket expense. And it continues to pay off. I run into past recipients who still have their Bibles and express their gratitude from the visits. It was in 2018, that I decided to create a name for what I have been doing - enter GMD’s BEE (GrandMa Diva’s Bible, Education & Etiquette) Project. My goal is to provide 25 students at Osberga White Memorial Early Childhood Center with a BIBLE, A BACK PACK & a CUP & CUTLERY SET. We will ship the items from the US so that they can be on time for their graduation ceremony.
