Some battles are fought quietly, every single day.

This is Faiza. She is a little girl living with Cerebral Palsy — a condition that turns the simplest things, like sitting, walking, and speaking, into a fight that takes everything she has. And yet, she never stops trying. She never stops smiling.

Her family is doing everything they can, but therapy, medical care, and the special equipment Faiza needs are far beyond what they can carry alone. They've started a GoFundMe — and right now, only 1% has been raised.

Every morning, Faiza starts struggling. 💜
While other children wake up and run to their parents... while other children jump out of bed, laugh, and play...
My daughter Faiza wakes up, and her battle begins.
Getting her body to cooperate. Fighting muscles that will not move the way they should. Pushing through pain and difficulty that no 5-year-old should ever have to know.
Every. Single. Morning.
And do you know what breaks my heart the most?
She never complains. Not once.
She wakes up, she struggles — and then she smiles. Like the morning is still beautiful. Like life is still worth fighting for.
That is who Faiza is.
A little girl with Cerebral Palsy who fights harder before breakfast than most of us fight all day.
But fighting spirit cannot pay for her therapy. Courage cannot cover her hospital bill at Children's National. Love cannot buy the equipment she needs.

Let me tell you about Faiza's morning. 💜

While most children wake up and run to the kitchen for breakfast — Faiza wakes up and begins her first battle of the day.

Getting dressed. Sitting up. Moving from her bed.

Things that take you 5 minutes take Faiza enormous effort and courage. And she does it. Every morning. Without complaint. With a smile that breaks my heart and fills it at the same time.

Then comes therapy. She works with her physical therapist — pushing her body further than it wants to go. She works with her speech therapist — finding words that don't come easily. She never quits. She never says it's too hard.

She is 5 years old, and she has more strength than most adults I know.

But strength alone cannot pay the bills.

Faiza's therapy costs $8,500 every 6 months. Her hospital bill at Children's National sits unpaid. Her equipment needs are constant.

We are asking our village — our community — to help us keep giving Faiza the mornings she deserves.
