About Tendo’s Foundation
Tendo’s Foundation is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to fight against drug addiction/abuse, youth empowerment, advancing education and opportunity, child and mother protection. We deliver measurable impact through thoughtful programs, partnerships, and advocacy. As we scale our reach, we’re looking for committed volunteers to strengthen our fundraising and storytelling capacity.

Volunteer Roles

1) Volunteer Grant Writer
What you will do:
- Research funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government programs.
- Draft clear, compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
- Tailor applications to funder priorities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, impact stories, and budget details.
- Track deadlines and maintain a grants calendar.

Who we are looking for:
- Strong writing and editing skills, experience with persuasive, donor-focused writing.
- Familiarity with grant applications and nonprofit reporting preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.

Every successful proposal helps fund vital services and expands our reach to more people in need. Your writing connects our mission to the resources that make it possible.

2) Volunteer Social Media Manager
What you will do:
- Develop and execute social media content plans across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and tiktok).
- Create engaging posts . copy, visuals, and short videos that tell Tendo’s Foundation’s stories.
- Grow and engage our online community. Respond to comments and messages with warmth and professionalism.
- Coordinate with fundraising and program teams to amplify campaigns and events.

Who we are looking for:
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing social media for nonprofits.
- At list basic graphic designing skills.
- Creative, proactive, and ready to bring fresh ideas.

Impact you will make:
Your content will elevate our visibility, attract supporters, and mobilize community action, turning awareness into support.

Empowering the Future, One Youth at a Time!

At Tendo's Foundation , we're committed to shaping the lives of young people in our communities. Recently, we embarked on a sensitization project in Bokwai community, where we reached over 300 youths with crucial information on the dangers of . This initiative has been life-changing, equipping our young people with the knowledge to make informed decisions and avoid the pitfalls of substance abuse.

But our work doesn't stop there. Through our Youth empowerment Projects, we're providing young people with skills to stay on the right path. Our training programs in hairdressing, makeup, logo design, web design, and more are designed to keep youths off the streets and out of drugs. By empowering them with skills and knowledge, we're giving them a brighter future. Join us in our mission to empower the next generation and create a safer, more prosperous community for all.

In our quest to combat the devastating drug abuse situation faced by our youths, Tendo's Foundation uphold once again to its responsibility of combating drug abuse and drug addiction in our youths by visiting the locality of Bokwai in buea where we spoke with the chief, the quarter head, the chairman and some other dignitaries of the village. We shared our approach on fighting against drugs abuse and how we have been helping other communities around fight cases . It was a heart warming welcome and a go ahead for us to embark on more sensitization campaign with the youths and why not the parents as well.
