will observe Veterans Day on November 11, 2024, 11:00am - 1:00pm,
highlighting a locally modified national theme
“A LEGACY OF LOYALTY AND SERVICE -- IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR!”
All Veterans and the General Public are also invited to attend –
• The Fred Gragg Veterans Appreciation Luncheon 11/9/2024 11:00am at the
LU Wesley Foundation Center 777 Sammy Davis Jr. Dr. Langston, OK and
• The 11th Annual Veterans Appreciation Worship Service 11/10/2024 11:00am at
New Hope Baptist Church 222 Hale Street Langston, OK

The Langston Community Veterans Appreciation Committee will be hosting their Memorial Day program on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Wm Conrad Veterans Memorial Gardens in Langston. The program will feature musical, poetic and narrative salutes to remember those who perished while serving during wartime/active duty.
The program will also honor POW/MIA veterans, acknowledge veterans killed in recent actions and familiarize guests with services from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the American Red Cross and other partnering organizations. Following the program, those in attendance are welcome to stay for a community picnic luncheon and yard games for all to enjoy.
