THIS IS WHY WE DO IT!!!!!

This post is not to “toot” our own horn but to explain why we do what we do.

We recently had some one come in to tell us we may not be seeing her again at “The BlueHouse”. She had gotten back on her feet. She was Praising God” that things had taken a turn for the better and she wanted us to know that it was the “Kindness” shown to her at the Bluehouse that made all the difference. Not just the food and clothing and prayers, but the loving concern that volunteers bestowed upon her. Even though she hadn’t meet every volunteer that contributed, she understood the impact that God and the Bluehouse has had on her life and she was ‘tearfully’ grateful.

This why we do IT!

These ladies from the Coves Ladies Golf Association had their annual spring drive . They donated lots of great clothing and wonderful food to the Blue House. God bless all of you, it’s greatly appreciated. We can’t do it without you.

God is good … what a blessing we received from REC. $6,000. For a new refrigerator and freezer. This replaced two older regular type refrigerators. Makes it easier to serve our clients .

VINITA DAY CENTER FISH FRY THIS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11!

Vinita Day Center board members Charlie Hillegass (left) and Ray Claggett have tickets available to the annual Vinita Day Center Fish Fry, which is set for Wednesday, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., at the American Legion. It will feature fresh fried fish from Joe Johnson and his cooking team. Proceeds will help add plumbing to the center for a washer and dryer.

Shout out to Reasor’s /Brookshire Grocery at Langley. They donate almost everyday of the week yo the Bluehouse to support the people less fortunate from the Langley/Ketchum/Disney/Eucha/ Cleoria area. Remember to shop locally .. they care enough about our area to make a difference.
