Thank you Whidbey Community Foundation for supporting The HUB in so many ways! It was our pleasure to have you visit our drop-in center. Your blog really highlights what is special about The HUB - After School

Founded in 1990, The HUB - After School is the only drop-in center serving teens on South Whidbey. Operating year-round, it offers a welcoming space with hot meals, snacks, art supplies, games, music, and homework help. The HUB also supports youth with clothing, toiletries, tickets to local events, and even transportation when needed. Teens from all walks of life—many navigating challenges such as food insecurity, mental health struggles, or lack of family support—find a place where they can be seen, heard, and supported.

Whidbey Community Foundation was proud to award The HUB a 2024 Community Health Grant to support general operations across their wide-ranging programs.

Free activities and food for tweens and teens! Join us at 301 Anthes for the opportunity to meet new friends, play games, create something in our maker space and listen to music! The HUB is a safe, supervised drop-in program that promotes community and inclusion.

Thanks goes to the Whidbey REN Faire for gifting HUB kids with free tickets to their festival on May 25 & 26. The teens at The HUB are so excited to be able to participate in cosplay in their own backyard.

If anyone has dress-up clothes, formal gowns, skirts, suits, belts etc., we could put them to good use! All sizes are accepted. Donations can be arranged by messaging us on Facebook. Thank you!!
