Horticulturist Kristi O’Donnell shares the success of her wildflower field, sown this past spring and home to butterflies, bees, and birds. Learn how to plant a bare field or how to use winter to prepare for next spring. Free, donations accepted for the Environmental Defense Fund.

Sponsored in conjunction with 1 Billion Butterflies, an art show organized by Melissa Koch and featuring work in various media by over 40 artists. On view in the Hub Gallery through November 8, 2026.

Discussion will follow the showing of “Works for All” a documentary by local filmmakers Mark Dworkin and Melissa Young about Co-Op Cincy, a unique network of cooperative businesses in Cincinnati, OH. Joining us will be Kathie Rivas of Heartsong Home Care Cooperative and Shawn Serdahl of A1 DesignBuild who will share their experiences as founding members of their worker-owned cooperatives.

Preserving history includes keeping track of all the little details, too.

Our facilities team and contractors have been hard at work through much of this year repainting our beloved Bayview Cash Store. This last week, Whidbey Sign Co. brought out the bucket truck and updated the Cash Store signs on the corner and front of the building. Thank you for helping us beautify the Corner, even in those hard-to-reach places!

Since 2011, Cincinnati, Ohio has been home to Co-Op Cincy, a unique network of activists and cooperative businesses who are building "an economy that works for all." Co-op Cincy works to transform and provide training and support for diverse and essential worker-owned cooperatives.
