Good afternoon,

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in last Thursday’s protest in support of women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. Your dedication and presence exemplify the power of collective action in advocating for equality, justice, and inclusivity. It is through these united efforts that we continue to raise awareness and drive meaningful change within our community and beyond.

We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to South Whidbey Record for their coverage and support in amplifying our message. The role of local journalism in shedding light on critical social issues is invaluable, and we are grateful for their dedication to keeping our community informed and engaged.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Please be advised. We had a pride banner worth more than $200. That was torn down and cut down off of school property. This is absolutely not ok, and we will not stop till we find who did it. We won't let these biggots dictate us. This is also under the responsibility of SWSD For refusing to put up cameras on their property facing their fence where they have property, This has been something the GSA and others have been pushing for for all year and it has not happened, However this is more so the responsibility of those person(s) that did the action. This banner was to be put into the March of Langley, pride.
This is currently in an open investigation. This impacts the whole whidbey community, we ask that if anyone has any information, please come forward and message our instagram or email our email,

this is vandalism and a hate crime, destruction of private property, and defaces the school and our community. The timeliness was sometime from 3 pm afternoon 8 am this morning, we are involving all civil rights organizations we can. WE STRESS THAT YOU KEEP EYES ON YOUR PROPERTY AND OUR COMMUNITIES PROPERTY WE ARE LIVING IN A DANGEROUS TIME AND NEED TO TREAD CAUTIONALLY, DOES THIS MEAN WE STOP? NO! WE KEEP STANDING UP AND DONT BACK DOWN.

During this time I would like Everyone in the schools and all the staff to exercise more caution from here till end of school. And we need to figure out something for security Cameras pointed at the fence if possible. Once again, please exercise more caution. STAY SAFE
