Our youth were so excited to learn the art of screen printing! 🎨👕 They got hands-on experience printing a design made by Ms. Jazz. Being hands on with brought their curiosity and excitement. These beautiful shirts can proudly be worn around our community.
We love seeing our youth learn new skills, express themselves, and create something they can be proud of! 💜🧡

Day 7!🧵

Day 7 was all about creativity and new skills! Our teens got hands-on experience learning how to properly operate sewing machines. From threading the machines to putting their designs together, everyone had the chance to learn, create, and build. 🙌🏽

Our littles on the other hand used fabric paint to design their own shirts. They got to come up with their own design, pick their colors and transfer their ideas to fabric.
A special thank you to Derrick for leading our teens through the sewing process and, most importantly, teaching them how to use the machines safely.

We’re proud of our youth for allowing themselves to be creative and open to learning new things.💪🏽✨

We’re back! Day 6 💜
We had a few hiccups getting our camp memories uploaded, but we’re finally catching up — and we’re ready to make up for all the days we missed sharing with you!

Day 6 brought us to The Whidbey Institute, where we spent the day amongst the trees, exploring the land, and most importantly, enjoying time together. 🌿💚

A huge thank you to The Whidbey Institute for welcoming us back for another year! We’re always grateful for the opportunity to explore your beautiful land, make memories, and spend time together in such a special place.

Day 4!!

After some technical difficulties I am now able to post day 4. 🎉

Our youth had such a wonderful time visiting with whidbeyforestfriends at their family farm! 🐓🦆🐐 They loved getting up close and personal with the ducks, chickens, and goat—feeding them, interacting with them, and making memories along the way. 💛

A huge thank you to the amazing family farm team for your warm welcome and wonderful hospitality! We truly appreciate you making the experience so special for our youth. 🌻

We’ll see you next Friday for our Sealife Tour! 🌊 We can’t wait!

Day 5…

Just a chill camp day. 🌿☀️

Today we slowed things down, got creative, and had so much fun building and painting our own birdhouses. From colorful designs to lots of laughs, it was the perfect way to spend the day together. We can’t wait to see which feathered friends decide to move in! 🐦🎨💚
