Woods supports children & adults with disabilities or challenges to achieve their highest potential Fulfilling Lives.

Woods was founded a century ago by visionary Mollie Woods with two simple goals -- to advance the quality of life and standard of care for individuals with disabilities. She gained international recognition for her groundbreaking work in helping children with exceptional needs experience the joy of achievement and lead fulfilling lives. Today, we’ve broadened her mission to serve people of all ages and levels of care with a unique model that drives greater achievement for individuals -- and best practices for the industry. We do that by applying leading research in real-world environments to create better outcomes in the four key life areas – Educational, Home and Community Supports, Health, Wellness and Therapeutic and Vocational. Our model relies on the strength of our highly-trained, highly-motivated and extremely dedicated team of clinicians, educators and counselors. Just as Mollie did 100 years ago, we believe our mission and our model are one in the same -- Exceptional People.

This National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we came together to celebrate six decades of Yellow Daffodil and the talented people who make it shine every day. For 60 years, it has been a place where skills grow, confidence blooms, and meaningful work changes lives.

Join us October 21st for Grand Rounds: Developing Effective Behavioral Support Plans for Children

How do you turn assessment data into a behavioral support plan that actually works for a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities? Using real case examples, Woods clinical experts will show you how to:

✅ Identify an individual’s target challenging behaviors.
✅ Collect data and complete functional assessments.
✅ Develop an effective Behavioral Support Plan (BSP).
✅ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

After more than 40 years of service to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Mike Haggerty, President of Allies, a Woods System of Care affiliate, will retire at the end of 2026. 💙

Mike held leadership roles at Woods Services before joining Allies in 2020. At Allies, he built our behavioral health and nurse navigator teams, expanded specialty training for managers, and grew our medical group homes. His impact on the people we serve, their families, and his colleagues will be felt for years to come.

We’re also proud to share that Ravi Dahiya will become President of Allies, while continuing as Executive Vice President and Chief Program & Growth Officer for Woods System of Care. Phil Monetti, one of Allies’ first employees, continues as COO with expanded responsibilities.
