Last week some FFA members along with Ms Sachs planted pumpkins at the Back Forty Beef and Adventure Farm for the upcoming season. Students planted, installed irrigation and covered the plants to make sure proper growth happens. We can’t wait to see how they grow and what other surprises we have in store for the fall.

We would like to thank everyone for attending our ffa banquet last week to celebrate student success, milestone and to come together as a community. A few more thank yous:

As we have had time to recover after the fun and exhaustion of state convention, we wanted to share results of our members who stepped up to the challenge.
CDE Results
The following students ranked in their contest which entails placing in the top 55% of competitors.
- Adaline Larson, livestock evaluation, bronze ranking
- Regan Bruns and Bradyn Small, gold rankings and meats team silver ranking
- Lizzie Gustafson, gold ranking and bronze ranking milk quality team
Dane Horter, natural resources, bronze ranking
- Caroline Bahr and Zoe Slaba, bronze ranking and vet science bronze ranking team

We also had two students earn their state degrees which is the highest honor a state can bestow on the members - congratulations Dylan and Bradyn.

Finally, our chair of the ag advisory board, Mr Mike Frey was given the honor of the honorary state degree for his efforts in restarting the chapter and for assisting around the district.
