Thank you to all of our generous donors! We are happy to announce that the Fall Mountain Food Shelf successfully completed the Hunger Challenge in July!

The Family Foundation has offered us another challenge for our the Fall Mountain Food Shelf between Labor Day and Thanksgiving 2019. Your donations will purchase food for those in need in the Fall Mountain region!

The Family Foundation will match all donations made to our Friendly Meals program up to $10,000. Your donation & the matching funds will help to buy food for the over 500 meals & meals on wheels served by our Friendly Meals volunteers every week!

HUNGER CHALLENGE

Please join Fall Mountain Friendly Meals in raising $10,000 between March 1st and April 30th, 2019. The Family Foundation will match donations dollar for dollar up to $10,000 to purchase food for local families!

We're looking for a driver to collect banana boxes from the Walpole Recycling Center and deliver them to Cold River Materials! We have a cargo van available. Please contact us at (603) 835-2283 or [email protected] if interested!

Drivers will:
Pick up the cargo van from the Fall Mountain Food Shelf
Drive to the Walpole Recycling Center
Pick up the boxes and deliver them to Cold River Materials on Scale Lane in Walpole
Return the cargo van to the Fall Mountain Food Shelf

The Alstead Thrift Shop needs volunteers! If you enjoy working with clothes and helping people, you'll have a fun time! All purchases at the Thrift Shop go toward our Friendly Meals program, allowing us to buy food for those in need.

The Thrift Shop is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 to 3:30 at the Alstead Transfer Station. If you're interested, please either call (240) 753-3684, e-mail us at [email protected], or stop in and say hello!

We are approaching the final three hours of NH gives, the New Hampshire wide 24-hour fundraising drive for the nonprofits that enrich and strengthen our communities!

Until 6pm tonight, June 12, 2019, you can donate through the Food Shelf NH Gives profile page (by clicking the link below) and show your support for what the Food Shelf does and help buy food for the people the Food Shelf serves in our communities. All donations up to $10,000 will be matched by the Family Foundation, and every $5 received will buy 6 meals for families in need!

Hello! We are looking for volunteers to pick up bread from Keene on Tuesdays and Saturdays. We have a van available, so all you need is a driver's license. Please call either (860) 634-3291 or (603) 835-2283 if you are interested!

We are also looking for camping supplies for a family of 10 in need of shelter. If you have any tents or other equipment you don't need, please let us know!
