Job Opportunity: Executive Director at Sav-a-Life Lanett/Valley, Inc.
Sav-a-Life is excited to announce a current job opportunity for the position of Executive Director. This is an exceptional chance for a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our organization in providing vital support and resources to our community.
About the Position
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the center, including strategic planning, program development, fundraising, and community outreach. You will work closely with the board of directors, staff and volunteers to ensure the fulfillment of our mission and the achievement of the centerβs goals. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and organization skills, as well as a deep commitment to the pro-life cause.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Have full responsibility for Sav-A-Life Lanett/Valley
β’ Provide managerial support, direction, and supervision to all center staff and volunteers
β’ Develop and implement strategic plans and programs
β’ Lead fundraising efforts and maintain donor relationships
β’ Foster community partnerships and enhance outreach activities
Qualifications
1. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
2. Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life and to sexual purity.
3. Agree fully with and be willing to uphold the Centerβs Policies and Procedures, Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, Mission Statement, and Code of Christian Conduct.
4. Have experience as a volunteer or employee in ministry, as well as proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit organization, including responsibility for direct supervision of paid staff in an efficient and professional setting. Bachelorβs degree is preferred, but a history of quality, work-related leadership experience is also valued.
5. Exhibit appropriate skills in the areas of interpersonal communication, public speaking, writing, problem solving, and effective media relations.
6. Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement, and wise direction for staff and volunteers.
7. Be able to develop and implement strategic plans and goals to sustain the operation and ministry impact of the Center.
8. Be able to carry out responsibilities with integrity under little or no supervision.
