Harrison Hills Baptist Church 1/2 mile south of I-64, exit 113, Lanesville, IN. Harrison Hills Baptist Church is a growing, family oriented church located in Lanesville, Indiana.

Sundays, Bible Study at 9:30am & Worship at 10:45am

We are committed to the verse-by-verse, expositional preaching of God's Word. We are more akin to an extended family where everyone knows, cares for, and loves one another. Our worship services are open to the entire family, and bring together a blend of scripture reading, prayer, contemporary and traditional music. Our desire is to create a wor

ship atmosphere that is focused on God and grounded in the gospel – one that will be suitable for all ages. Our sermons reflect an approach that opens the word of God for revelation and instruction. We offer occasional Bible studies and other small group activities to provide discipleship and fellowship opportunities for all ages.

Last Sunday, we began a new 6-part series through Colossians 2 called “According to Christ.”

In the opening message, “Taken Captive,” we looked at Paul’s warning in Colossians 2:8: “See to it that no one takes you captive…”

The world around us is constantly shaping the way we think about God, truth, morality, salvation, and even what it means to follow Christ. The danger is that we can be influenced by ideas we don’t even realize have taken hold of us.

So Paul gives us a simple but searching question: Is it according to Christ?

Take some time this week to listen to “Taken Captive” and consider where worldly thinking may be shaping your own heart and mind.

Join us every Sunday at 9:30am for Sunday School classes designed for every stage of life:
•Ages 3–6
•Ages 7–11
•Ages 12–18
•Adult Class

We're currently studying the New Testament together using the Answers in Genesis Sunday School curriculum. It's been a blessing to grow in God's Word as a church family, with each class exploring the same passages so families can continue learning together and have meaningful conversations at home throughout the week.
