Today we're excited to host a visit from Aparna Raj in our UFCW Local 400 union grocery stores in DC!

Congratulations to our members at The Apothecarium dispensary on winning their first union contract!

The agreement covers workers at the Burtonsville, Md. location and includes many improvements:

✅ Guaranteed wage increases over the life of the agreement
✅ Protections against members losing their jobs from temporary workers
✅ Paid breaks
✅ Paid holidays and personal time off
✅ Paid bereavement leave
✅ A grievance procedure to resolve disputes with management
✅ Mandated work week schedule postings
