The Second Amendment: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Sadly, to get the word out about our upcoming 37th Annual Memorial Weekend Show here on Facebook, we’ve been backed into a corner. As a proud, law-abiding, Second Amendment-supporting community, it feels completely anti-American and anti-constitutional to be stifled on our own pages. But because a blind computer algorithm cannot tell the difference between a traditional, lawful Wyoming heritage event and an illegal back-alley marketplace, we have been forced to severely edit our event image just so it can be viewed and shared without being deleted.
We apologize for the slightly wonky appearance of the new flyer, but we refuse to let a social media algorithm stop us from coming together!
To help our community decode the new poster and understand the hoops we have to jump through just to protect our free speech and heritage, here is your official Social Media Translation Guide:
When we say "Show, Expo, or Heritage Display": You know we mean our traditional Gun Show, which for America 250 boasts 250 tables.
When we say "Modern-Day Musket": We are talking about the Sunday firearm drawing for the Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian .270 rifle.
When we say "Drawing or Giveaway": That's the platform-safe code for our 50/50 and item Raffles.
When we say "Daisy Range": We mean the NWTF Jakes youth Shooting range!
Make your plans now to join us for the 37th Annual Memorial Weekend Show and America 250 Celebration on May 23rd and 24th in Riverton, Wyoming! Yes, Memorial Day Weekend is next weekend, and it’s falling earlier this year on the calendar.
We are sold out and at capacity with 250 tables packed to the brim across The Fremont Center and Heritage Hall, the two largest buildings at the Fremont County Fairgrounds. You'll find an incredible selection to see, buy, sell, or trade—including historical items, gear, accessories, custom knives, gold and silver, and collectibles. Whether you are a serious collector, a sportsman gearing up for hunting season, or looking for either home or personal defense, there is something here for everyone.
Don't miss out on our big Sunday afternoon drawings:
For the Main Sunday "Modern-Day Musket" Drawing, you must be present to win! Make sure you are on the floor on Sunday afternoon for your chance to take it home. For the 50/50 Cash Drawing, you need NOT be present to win! Buy your tickets anytime during the weekend, and you still have a shot at the cash prize even if you have to head out early.
Daily admission is $7 (correct change is appreciated!) and a weekend wristband is $10. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Door admission is cash-only. We have an ATM on site for convenience and you may buy your daily or weekend wristband at the main door of either Heritage Hall or The Fremont Center.
Hungry? Delicious concessions will be available for purchase right on-site from the Cattle Camp! They'll be serving up hearty camp favorites like smoked brisket or pork sandwiches, breakfast burritos, burgers, nachos, and cold drinks to keep you fueled up all day.
Need Cash? "Cash is king" for many independent vendors, so for maximum convenience, we will have an ATM on-site at the fairgrounds. Daily bank withdrawal limits may apply, so coming prepared is encouraged!
Plenty of parking is available on-site! There’s paved parking in front of and between the two primary buildings, as well as in the gravel parking lots adjacent to and behind The Fremont Center. Overflow parking is also available along Fairgrounds Road, S. 8th East going towards the sale barn, the Fremont County lot north of Heritage Hall, and the gravel overflow lot north of the livestock barns.
Doors Open promptly at 9:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday hours are 9-5, and Sunday hours are 9-3.
Cowboy Church: Everyone is welcome—come as you are! Join us inside The Little Wind Center with service starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Thank you all for standing with us, bearing with the wonky formatting, and helping us share this event. Let's pack the fairgrounds next weekend!
