Lander Valley High School to Host Student Showcase
Lander Valley High School is excited to announce its third annual Student Showcase, taking place Tuesday, May 5, from 5–7 PM in the LVHS Commons. This event invites the community to experience the diverse talents and achievements of LVHS students across a range of disciplines, including art, culinary arts, woods, metalwork, and English language arts.
Zach Even, LVHS art instructor, said, “This showcase is a chance for students to share their work beyond the classroom and take pride in what they’ve created. It’s meaningful to see the community come in, ask questions, and engage with that work. Events like this highlight not just what students produce, but the learning and growth behind it.”
Guests can view a wide range of student work, including pottery, stained glass, paintings, drawings, and digital art. Industrial technology students will exhibit woodworking, metal, and welding projects completed throughout the year. Culinary students will provide a variety of treats during a reception, and English language arts students will share original writing, including poetry and essays.
All community members are invited to attend this evening of creativity, innovation, and celebration. Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite student projects.
