Meadowlark Market supports a dozen different coops in Fremont County. We require that all eggs are clean (not washed) and come from healthy, happy chickens. We have the only commercial kitchen with egg-grading capabilities in the state of Wyoming. Come in, take some time to enjoy your options. Choose by color, brand, size, or species (duck, duck, goose, and quail available too!). Choose local.

Our newest kitchen staff member and chef, Justin Revere, will be serving up a classic skillet bread Indian taco made with local, natural ingredients. Come enjoy a modern take on a dish rooted in survival and now celebrated for resilience, community, and gathering together.

Registration ($25) is required beforehand and includes instruction, supplies, beverages, and pizza! Space is limited to 10 students and kids are welcomed, but must be with a supervising adult. Register for classes by stopping into Meadowlark or calling during store hours

SFWR is hiring an Executive Director to help lead our organization into its next chapter. This leadership role will guide strategic vision, oversee daily operations, strengthen fundraising and earned revenue efforts, support staff, build community partnerships, and work closely with our Board to advance our mission.

We’re looking for someone who can balance hands-on leadership with advocacy, relationship building, and community representation.

We’re so excited to host a BBQ Pop-Up with Brooks Allman on Saturday, May 9th from 6 - 7:30 PM. 🧺 🍖

Brooks grew up in Houston, Texas, where he developed a taste for authentic Texas barbecue! After living in Wyoming for a few years, he missed good brisket so much that he bought a smoker and started “Smoking Goat BBQ” in order to share smoked brisket and homestyle cooking with his friends and community! Brooks is excited to work with Meadowlark and bring good brisket to Lander and show y’all what Southern barbecue is all about!

Dinner for the night will be buffet style and a plate will include barbecue brisket or pulled pork, homemade barbecue sauce, pickles and onions, jalapeño cheddar, white bread, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and pecan bars. $35/plate, and spots are limited to 30 people.
