Everyone deserves to have their healthcare wishes respected, no matter what. That’s why Florida is considering Senate Bill 312: Patient Directed Medical Orders (PDMO) – a simple idea that’s a game-changer for people with serious illnesses.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗗𝗠𝗢?
PDMO is an official medical order (like a doctor’s order) that records exactly what treatments you do or do not want if you become seriously ill, so your choices are known and honored in any emergency or care setting.

It’s created with your doctor and travels with you. No matter where you are—whether in a hospital, nursing home, or at home with paramedics—providers can quickly see your wishes and follow them. This means:
• You get the care you want
• You avoid the treatments you don’t want
• Your family isn’t left guessing your wishes

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘄?
Florida SB 312 would establish PDMO statewide, and it’s up for a hearing soon.
