👏 25 Years – John Tuell (National Resource Center for the Transformation of Youth Justice)
John's impact has extended far beyond our organization. Through decades of innovation, collaboration, and commitment to positive change, he has helped strengthen practices and inspire progress within the field of juvenile justice which continues to benefit children, youth, families, and communities across the country.
Sorrel Lewis, MA, NRC Director of Operations, says: “It has been a privilege to work alongside him for nearly two decades and to witness firsthand his unwavering dedication to serving communities and improving outcomes for children, youth, and families. John's vision, innovation, and collaborative leadership have advanced meaningful system reform throughout the country and led to the creation of the National Resource Center for the Transformation of Youth Justice. Even while tackling complex challenges, John always knows when to bring a little levity, making him not only an exceptional leader but also a wonderful colleague.”
👏20 years - Emily Lupien (Center for Behavioral Health)
Emily is one of those people who makes a difference everywhere she goes. Whether she's supporting her own team, stepping in to help another division, or solving challenges behind the scenes, she consistently goes above and beyond. Her dedication, strong communication skills, and willingness to help have made her an invaluable part of our Center for Behavioral Health. Through her work, she helps ensure that clients and families receive the support and services they need, often facilitating solutions that improve their experience and outcomes. Just as importantly, Emily brings kindness and genuine care to every interaction, ensuring both colleagues and the people we serve feel supported and valued.
Maria Tebeau, LICSW, Associate Vice President of Intensive Community Clinical Services, shares: “Emily is an incredibly hard-working member of our team, and we are lucky to have her! She takes on so many duties and yet is always willing to step up and take on more when asked. She communicates seamlessly with others, both inside and outside the organization, and strives to be a problem solver. Above all of this, Emily is a very kind and genuine person who cares about the people that we serve as well as her colleagues.”
