Yesterday, Katie had the opportunity to participate in the nonprofit fair at Leadership Lancaster's annual Catalyst event.

It was an exciting afternoon where she met with lots of dedicated Lancaster professionals to share more about Neuro Neighborhood and how we can collaborate to build a better neighborhood!

You’ve heard us say before how important it is to have a neighborhood supporting you. In honor of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, we wanted to highlight a community neighbor that is dedicated to helping people with Multiple Sclerosis, MS FitEffect.

MS FitEffect is an organization providing personal training and other resources for those with MS. They are currently accepting new clients under their Grace Fund! They also have an upcoming nutrition seminar hosted in Elizabethtown and MS Awareness Walk in Red Lion. Please reach out to them if you are interested.

Today marks our first year as an organization!

We are so excited by all we have accomplished in just one year and very grateful for our participants, volunteers, donors, and sponsors thus far. We could not be making this impact without everyone's support.

Some highlights include establishing our first board of directors, an adaptive biking day, a monthly Parkinson's support group, a caregiver appreciation luncheon, attaining our 501(c)(3) distinction, and meeting so many passionate and supportive community members.

Cheers to another year of growth for our neighborhood!
