Meet Our Jr. Writers!

We’re so excited to introduce one of the talented voices behind Greet Manheim Township’s Junior Writers program!

“Hi! My name is Isabella Persaud, and I am a writer and intern for the Greet Manheim Township Junior Writers program. Outside of this, I do professional modeling and acting, and I am a mentee in the Constellation Energy mentor program. I also manage a literature and education platform on Instagram, volunteer at the Manheim Township Public Library, and serve on both the Teen Advisory Board and the Penn State Youth Advisory Council. When I have free time, you can usually find me reading or creating content.”

Our Junior Writers are creative, motivated students who help tell meaningful community stories while gaining real-world writing experience and building their portfolios.

“Hi!! My name is Siyana Georgieva, and I’m a junior writer at Greet Manheim Township. I love writing all kinds of pieces and interacting with my community!! Outside of the magazine, I’m a mentor in Leaders of Future Generations and the president of the Teen Advisory Board at the public library, where we create teen events.”

Samantha Dearing is a freshman at Manheim Township. Besides GMT, she is involved in the MTHS student newspaper and the CoJoMotion Dance Company through the Lititz Academy of Dance. She will also be assuming the role of Merch Coordinator for the MTHS Women in Leadership club next year. Samantha is thankful for Greet Manheim Township and the opportunities it offers.

“Hello! I am Cate, and I am a junior writer for Greet Manheim Township. I’m also a writer for Township Times at Manheim Township High School, where I enjoy expressing myself through entertainment and pop culture pieces. Outside of writing, I figure skate for the Red Rose figure skating club and am a junior coach for Girls on the Run. Additionally, I help run a mental health club at my school called Rise Above Club.”

Ally Hagel is a freshman at Manheim Township High School. Ally is a member of MiniThon at MTS and a Staff Writer for The Township Times. She is also a member of Tri-M, a music honors society. Outside of school, Ally has been dancing at Dansestations for 11 years. She is so grateful to be able to write for GMT.

We’re so excited to introduce one of the talented voices behind Greet Manheim Township’s Junior Writers program!

Molly DeLong is a freshman at Manheim Township. In addition to writing for GMT, Molly is heavily involved in the performing arts at MTHS. She was a cast member in the spring musical and served as the Freshman Representative for MTPA. She is a staff writer for the school newspaper and a singer with Bella Voce, a small treble-voice choir. She is so grateful for this opportunity.
