Freedom isn’t just a release date—it’s a responsibility, a reset, and a real opportunity to rebuild.

Preparing someone for reentry means more than opening the gate. It means equipping them with the tools, support, and mindset to step into their second chance with purpose. From securing housing and employment to rebuilding relationships and restoring confidence, the work starts before release—and continues long after.

Everyone deserves the chance to rewrite their story. When we invest in preparation, we don’t just change one life—we strengthen families, communities, and futures.

There are moments in this work that remind us exactly why we do what we do.

Across California, there are individuals who are terminally ill, still incarcerated, and nearing the end of their lives. Through compassionate release, they are given a chance to spend their final days outside of prison—but too often, there is nowhere appropriate for them to go.

This is where we, as a community, must step in.

At Timelist Group, we are working to build a Recuperative Care, ECM, and CalAIM-supported program in Lancaster that doesn’t just focus on stabilization—but on dignity. A place where individuals who have been granted compassionate release can receive medical support, humane care, and most importantly… the opportunity to be surrounded by family in their final hours.

Because no one should take their last breath alone in a system that was never designed for end-of-life care.

This is about more than reentry.
This is about humanity.
This is about giving families the chance to say goodbye.

We are calling on partners—health plans, hospitals, CDCR, and community stakeholders—to join us in making this vision real. Together, we can create a model that honors life, even at its end.

Timelist Group, Inc. is proud to announce our expansion of reentry services into the Detroit area — bringing critical support, resources, and opportunities to individuals returning home from incarceration.

Every day, too many people face overwhelming barriers after release — housing instability, unemployment, and lack of support. Our work is about changing that.

💼 Through mentorship, workforce development, and systems navigation, we help individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Now, we’re bringing that mission to Michigan.
