Our congregation recently conducted a local officer enrollment, a public declaration of Salvation Army soldiers' willingness to serve in specific volunteer leadership roles - similar to the roles of deacons, elders, ministry team leaders, trustees, or lay leaders in other Christian congregations.

The enrollment was conducted by our Divisional Commanders, the senior leaders of The Salvation Army’s Southwest Ohio & Northeast Kentucky Division, based in Cincinnati - Majors Scott and Susan Kelly.

Those enrolled were:
Frank Spires — Corps Sergeant Major
Provides senior lay leadership within the corps.

Mark Perry — Social Services Sergeant
Helps support the corps’ ministry of compassion and practical care through its social service outreach - supports Angie and the food pantry regularly.

Abigail Williams — Young People’s Sergeant Major
Oversees all things youth ministry.

Auggie Reed — Corps Historian
Helps preserve and share the story, records, and important moments in the history of the local corps.

Major Diana Ryan DeMichael — Corps Secretary
Provides administrative support and record keeping for the ministry of the corps.

Major Ron DeMichael — Welcome Sergeant
Oversees the welcoming of new individuals to church.

A true community champion, Nicole Davis has volunteered much of her time and talents to serving the mission of The Salvation Army – Serving Lancaster & Fairfield County. Since joining the advisory board a few years ago, she quickly felt her personal values align with those of The Salvation Army. She is proud to represent a meaningful mission and the positive impact it has on the local community. Especially fond of the Red Kettle Campaign, Nicole has played an important role in the campaign planning committee and throughout the overall Christmas season efforts.
