Economic abuse is one of the most common forms of abuse & one of the least recognized.

Control doesn’t always leave physical marks. Sometimes it looks like restricted access to money, forced debt, financial surveillance or preventing someone from earning an income.

The abuse we don’t talk about is often the abuse we fail to see.

Be a part of a Community of Care for survivors! Join Lancaster County's IPV Collaborative.

The Lancaster County Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Collaborative brings together survivors, healthcare providers, housing partners & community organizations to strengthen support for survivors of intimate partner violence.

Together we build, identify gaps, amplify survivor voices & create a coordinated community response. We are especially interested in having survivors speak from their perspective of what "survivor-centered" care looks like. You didn't have to use our services in the past as a requirement. We are here to listen.

Interested in being part of the work? Join us for our next meeting. Contact us for more information: [email protected]

Many people assume that once a survivor leaves an abusive relationship, the danger is over. In reality, the period during and after separation can be one of the most dangerous times.

That's why advocacy services are so important. Every survivor's journey is different. Everyone deserves resources that help them make the safest choices possible. It doesn't stop with us!

We need you to:
1. Talk to your representatives about the importance of Domestic Violence Services and funding.
2. Invest in your community! Whether that is donations of time or funding, we share the responsibility of safe communities.
3. If you or someone you know experiences the warning signs of lethality, contact us at our 24/7 Hotline: 717-299-1249 or Text "SAFE" to 61222

We’re incredibly grateful to our Medical Advocate Charli & Shannon at for their partnership and generosity in providing pregnancy tests, condoms and emergency contraception for survivors we serve.

Access to reproductive health resources is an important part of safety, autonomy and healing. Through collaboration and community care, we can help ensure survivors have support during some of life’s most difficult moments.

The big day is finally here! 💜

Tomorrow we celebrate 50 years of Domestic Violence Services and gather together at the Ware Center for our anniversary conference: Building a Community of Care.

This day is about community, advocacy, and standing beside survivors of abuse with compassion and hope. We are honored to learn, connect, and continue the work of creating safer futures for everyone.

Here’s to 50 years of impact & to the powerful community that makes this work possible. ✨

🚨 ACTION ALERT! 🚨 Survivors and programs can’t wait on federal funding delays. Tell Congress to take action NOW: https://buff.ly/29P4w4A

Federal funding saves lives. Delays in funding for domestic violence and sexual assault programs can lead to reduced services, staff shortages, and unsafe gaps in support for survivors.

Our Legal Center served 1,200 pro bono clients in 2025. In the last 3 years, our Transitional Housing Program supported over 54 families showing just how critical these resources are for safety, stability, and healing.

Congress must urge the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice to immediately release FY26 funding opportunities and distribute all approved FVPSA and OVW funds. Survivors cannot afford to wait.
