“A Scout is Thrifty”
A Scout works to pay their own way, saves for the future, protects natural resources, and uses time and property carefully.

Last weekend's Thrifty Campout; rain and all, put that to the test as we practiced;

-Wise spending: Telling needs from wants.
-Resource management: Planning meals and sharing gear.
-Conservation: Caring for their gear and the campsite.
-Self-reliance: Solving problems on their own when the rain came.

They came home tired, muddy, and proud of what they had accomplished.

What a week! Our Scouts braved Canadian wildfire smoke, walked marathons between activities, and came home with fun stories to share.

Badges were earned, memories were made, and real bonds formed as a troop — Scouts supporting each other and older Scouts stepping up to guide the younger ones.

None of it would have been possible without the amazing staff at Sinoquipe Scout Reservation. Thank you for making this week one our Scouts won’t forget.

Here’s to another great year of scouting ahead.

Our Troop’s 2026 Great Spring Event was an unforgettable adventure!

Over the course of the trip, our Scouts explored the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, stepped back in time at Monocacy National Battlefield, enjoyed the Aberdeen IronBirds at Ripkin Stadium and wrapped things up with a sweet stop at Creamery Connection.
From aviation and American history to fellowship and new experiences, this trip showcased what Scouting is all about—adventure, discovery, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you to all of our leaders, volunteers, and families who helped make this year’s Great Spring Event such a success!

Our Scouts had a fantastic time at Youth Field Day, enjoying outdoor activities, learning new skills, and making great memories.

A special thank you to Lancaster County Sportsmen For Youth for hosting this outstanding event and supporting the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. We appreciate all the volunteers and organizations that made the day possible!

Our Spring Court of Honor was a great opportunity to recognize the hard work and achievements of our Scouts.

We celebrated numerous rank advancements and merit badge accomplishments, enjoyed a fantastic potluck dinner provided by our families, and shared in the fellowship and community that make Scouting so special.

Well done to all of our Scouts on their accomplishments—we’re proud of your dedication and growth!

This past weekend our crew tackled the Appalachian Trail near Pine Grove Furnace for our annual May backpacking trip!

A perfect weekend enjoying the outdoors and making memories on the trail.

Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scouts—Holden Armenio, Lewis Calder, Cameron Coleman, and Haven Kohl!

Reaching the rank of Eagle is no small accomplishment, and each of you has shown incredible dedication, leadership, and perseverance along the way. From your first campouts to leading your Eagle projects, you’ve set an example for others to follow and made a lasting impact on our troop and community.

We are truly proud of the young men you’ve become and excited to see where your journeys take you next. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
