Standing Stone Strings and Things Dulcimer Club Our club welcomes all acoustic musicians.

We meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Lancaster, Ohio from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Friends, my heart is heavy as I share that Gary Sager passed on March 15, 2023. If you have one of the many beautiful dulcimers he built, give it a loving strum today. Also lift up his wife, Toni and his two children.

Here are members of Standing Stone Strings and Things ready to play as pre show entertainment for the matinee performance of It’s A Wonderful Life at Ohio University Lancaster’s theater. The attendance was huge and the performance was magical. We were honored to be invited to be a part of it.

The club played October 8 for the grand opening of Hocking Hills State Park Lodge. It is a beautiful facility. The staff were warm and welcoming. The guests had a great time. Governor DeWine and family were interested in the music. Mrs. DeWine sang along to “I’ll Fly Away”. We had a blast sharing our instruments and music.

Preparing for the next exciting playing event: the grand opening of the new
HOCKING HILLS STATE PARK LODGE! October 8, 2022!
Ribbon cutting is at 1:30 and Standing Stone Strings and Things will be playing in the lobby starting at 2:30. Buses will bring folks into the site from the school parking lot or from the John Glenn observatory.

We enjoyed Sims Fall Festival. We had a number of folks who sat on the hay bales and listened the entire time! We managed to keep playing when the Civil war group shot the canon although I jumped! Lovely weather and warm welcome.
