Sawa Africa

We’re heading to Nairobi! 🇰🇪

Our founder and leader, Dorothy Dulo will represent Sawa Africa at The hashtag , hosted by the Segal Family Foundation - a gathering of African visionaries, partners, and changemakers committed to locally led solutions and lasting impact.

At Sawa Africa, we believe that those closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions. She looks forward to learning from others, exchanging ideas, building meaningful relationships, and sharing what we are learning from our work alongside communities and government in Kenya.

If you’ll be at hashtag , she would love to connect.

One-time gifts help.
Monthly giving transforms.
Why? Because predictable support allows organizations like Sawa Africa to:
✔ Plan programs sustainably
✔ Support more learners consistently
✔ Invest in long-term impact instead of short-term fixes
$10 monthly can help keep a child learning, growing, and dreaming.

1. Day 1 of ECD teachers refresher training. 100% attendance. These teachers are motivated and eager to learn.
4. Today, the teachers had a chance to give us feedback from aTerm 1, and program team has their eyes all over it.
6. Teaching teachers many creative play activities makes the sessions engaging but also gives them a tool box of activities for their learners.
