The NAACP Lancaster Branch remains committed to fairness, accountability, transparency, and the continued strengthening of relationships between our community and local law enforcement.
In light of the recent Red Rose Festival incident, we appreciate the willingness of Lancaster Police Department leadership to openly communicate, provide additional context, and continue constructive dialogue surrounding community concerns.
As an organization, we will always advocate for truth, fairness, and the protection of our youth and community while also encouraging responsible understanding before conclusions are made from partial information.
Our goal remains unity, trust, communication, and continued progress for Lancaster.
