LEADS, Making Lancaster Beautiful We support the economic vitality of downtown Lancaster through beautification efforts— attracting visitors, residents, & businesses.

LEADS = Lancaster's Economic Action for Downtown Success Each spring Downtown Lancaster lampposts are hung with flower baskets, and each fall they’re decorated with holiday wreaths and garlands. The Penn Square Christmas tree stands tall with twinkling lights and ornaments thanks to a partnership between LEADS and the City of Lancaster. LEADS conducts a variety of fundraisers to pay for these prog

rams, and, since we’re an all-volunteer organization, virtually all contributions go directly to these costs. LEADS’ goal has and will always be to make Lancaster a more beautiful place to visit, work and live and we thank you for your continued support of LEADS and all that we do.

Have you noticed our stunning baskets at this year’s strawberry festival, hosted by The Lancaster Central Market🍓! These flower baskets provide beauty to our Lancaster community and are perfect for our residents and visitors to enjoy. LEADS' annual Adopt-A-Basket fundraiser is now in full swing and this year offers a new mix of flowers: Lantana with its the small, 5-lobed, flat-topped clusters and spider plants with cascading, narrow, arching leaves in green and cream.

We have 150 more baskets to adopt, so please consider helping us reach our goal by May 15. Your $100 gift adopts a basket and the opportunity to celebrate a friend or loved one with a personalized tags hung from each basket.
