Looking past the craziness of March and April to let everyone know that our we are now accepting new campers (9-14 years-old and female-identifying individuals) for our 2020 TechGYRLS Summer Camp until April 13th. After that date we will open registration to returning campers. Spots are limited. Questions or completed registration packets are to be directed to Sam Thiry at [email protected].

First up, is Patricia Bath, the first African American to complete a residency in ophthalmology and the first African American female doctor to receive a medical patent. She invented the Laserphaco Probe for cataract treatment in 1986.
