A warm bed, a clean towel and a fresh pair of socks. Everyday essentials make an extraordinary difference when you’re experiencing homelessness. We’re inviting Lancaster County to help us stock the shelves and share the love!

Join the Lancaster Housing and Redevelopment Authority (LCHRA), YMCA of the Roses, Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition, and Otterbein United Methodist Church for a community-wide donation drive to provide NEW essentials for shelter guests. Choose an item (or several!) from our ⁠SignUpGenius wish list, then drop off your donations on Saturday, November 7, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Otterbein UMC, 20 E. Clay Street, Lancaster (parking lot entrance).

Whether you give one item or organize a collection with friends, you’re helping turn everyday necessities into tangible expressions of care. Let’s show our neighbors what a community of compassion does!

This week on Trainer Tuesday, we’re featuring Lina, our Golf Specialist! ⛳️

My passion for fitness grew from my own personal wellness journey and the challenges of creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That experience inspired me to help others achieve their own goals and discover the benefits of feeling strong, capable, and confident.

I began my career as a Wellness Coach and expanded my expertise into personal training, Pilates, and group fitness. As an avid golfer, I also have a special interest in golf fitness, focusing on strength, mobility, balance, and functional movement to help golfers perform their best both on and off the course.

My goal is to meet each person where they are and create an approach that feels both achievable and sustainable. Whether the goal is to build strength, improve mobility, enhance golf performance, or simply feel better day to day, I’m passionate about helping each individual move better, feel stronger, and build a healthy lifestyle that supports their unique goals.
