Lancaster Promise Neighborhood promises to do whatever it takes with the community to make sure every child who lives in the zone has the opportunity for success. The promise is we will be able to look into the eyes of every single parent and say, "We promise that your child is going to have access to high-quality early childhood education. We promise your child will graduate ready and prepared and, if they so desire, they will have resources to attend college and graduate."

This summer, students will have the opportunity to participate in Power Hour Academic Enrichment Program led by a dedicated retired educator with years of experience supporting student success. The program is designed to help students maintain and strengthen their academic skills during the summer months while preparing for the upcoming school year.
Through one on one lessons, personalized support, and interactive learning activities, students will receive assistance in key areas such as reading, mathematics, critical thinking, and study skills. The program provides a nurturing environment where students can continue learning, prevent summer learning loss, and develop a love for lifelong learning.

This free opportunity is offered by our academic liaisons to ensure that all students have access to high-quality educational support and enrichment experiences throughout the summer.

Lancaster Promise Neighborhood support staff will be visiting families of students attending Clinton Elementary, A.R. Rucker Middle School, and Lancaster High School this summer.

During these visits, our Academic Success Coaches, Check & Connect Mentors, and Behavioral Interventionists will introduce themselves, connect with families, and share information about the programs and resources available through Lancaster Promise Neighborhood.

Our team recently had the opportunity to attend the 2026 National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference (CSxFE) in Long Beach, California, joining educators, community leaders, and advocates from across the country who are committed to creating stronger outcomes for children and families.

Throughout the conference, we engaged in impactful sessions focused on family engagement, student success, community partnerships, youth development, and innovative strategies that strengthen the community school model. We gained valuable insights on building meaningful relationships with families, leveraging community resources, and creating equitable opportunities that help scholars thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

We are excited to bring these ideas, best practices, and new connections back to our community. The knowledge we gained will help us continue enhancing our programs, strengthening partnerships, and developing innovative ways to support scholars and families. As we move forward, we remain committed to creating opportunities that empower students, engage families, and build a brighter future for our entire community.

Thank you to everyone who made this conference such an inspiring experience. We look forward to putting what we've learned into action and continuing to make a lasting impact.

What a memorable evening celebrating the Class of 2026 at Lancaster High School's Senior Sunset! 🌅🎓

As our seniors gathered one final time before beginning their next chapter, they enjoyed great food, fellowship, laughter, and unforgettable memories with friends and classmates.

A special thank you to David Dogs, Royal Eats, Big Boys Bistro, and La Piñata, and Lancaster High School/LCSD for helping make the evening so special. Your support and delicious meals added to an incredible celebration for our graduates.

Today marks the first day of a new journey. To the graduates of Lancaster High School, continue to dream big, work hard, and never underestimate the impact you can make in your communities and beyond. The future is yours, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish.

As you turn the page to a new chapter, remember that graduation is not the finish line. It is the beginning of new opportunities, new challenges, and new dreams waiting to be pursued. What a great way to wrap up another successful school year! 🎉

Our staff at Clinton Elementary, AR Rucker Middle School, and Lancaster High School recently hosted End of the Year Celebrations to recognize and celebrate our incredible scholars for their hard work, growth, and achievements throughout the year.

During each school's lunch period, we transformed the space into a celebration where scholars could enjoy pizza, drinks, and snacks while spending time with their peers and staff. More importantly, it was an opportunity to intentionally celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge the dedication they showed all year long.
We are so proud of every scholar who successfully completed another school year. Whether they reached academic goals, developed new skills, built friendships, or overcame challenges, each student has something to be proud of.

Thank you to our school staff, partners, and supporters who help make moments like these possible. We hope our scholars enjoy a well-deserved summer break, and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish in the year ahead!
